It is so common in the whole world but people do not talk about it because people come to know about it in its last stage. But we will talk about it today because breast cancer occurs not only in women but also in males. Hence it is important for everyone to know about it.

Breast cancer occurs when breast cells grow without control and form a lump or mass. These abnormal cells grow abnormally and multiply to form cancer or tumor. Some of these are harmless while some are harmful and spread to other body parts. But with early detection and treatment it can be cured before it becomes severe.
Types of breast cancer
Breast cancer is of different types depending on where it started and how it behaves.

Some of the important ones are given below.
- Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS): This is a very early stage of breast cancer which is called stage 0. Till this stage, cancer cells are present in the ducts and do not spread and its treatment is also easy but early detection is very important.
- Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC): This is the most common type. In this, cancer cells are formed in the milk ducts. It starts small but can spread to nearby tissues, making it more severe
- Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (ILC): This cancer starts in the milk-producing lobules and can spread to different parts of the body
- Triple-Negative Breast Cancer : These are the most aggressive types because hormonal therapy is also not effective in them. That is why it is called triple negative because it does not have the usual receptors that are normally seen.
- HER2-Positive Breast Cancer: This is a type of cancer The growth rate is very high because it contains HER2 protein which promotes cancer cells.

- Age: Risk of breast cancer increases after the age of 50. After this, gradually with the passage of time the risk of cancer increases.

- Lifestyle Changes: If there is no exercise, poor diet, alcohol consumption in lifestyle then the risk increases.

- Hormones: Those who have higher levels of estrogen in their body, menstruation happens early and menopause also happens much later, this increases the risk of cancer in them.
